It’s all about the music, in two hours of new wave, indie, alt.rock, vintage classics, and many other good things. The second hour mellows everything down and is known as ’The Easy Hour’. Magnus Shaw is your host. Features include: ’Twin Peaks’ (not the TV show), ’They’re Alive’, and the ’Midget Gem’ (not a sweet). A new episode is available weekly at 10.00pm UK Sundays. THE SHOW IS AVAILABLE FOR SYNDICATION. Please email nomoreheroes@mkscreative.co.uk for more details
NO MORE HEROES is available for syndication and is available to almost any radio station which would like to include it. At the moment there is no charge for this. Just a few common-sense points to bear in mind...
I'd like to run the show, what's the best way to let you know?
If you would like the show on your station, please email us at NMH@mkscreative.co.uk mentioning where you would like to place the programme in your schedule, your location, station name and website.
What happens next?
We'll take a brief look at your website, just so we know where the show is going to air. If all is well and good, we will include your email address on our distribution list, and you will receive a notification that the show is ready for download as an MP3. This will be via WeTransfer on a Sunday evening at about 10.00pm (UK). We also offer the file via Dropbox. You are then free to use the file for broadcast and re-broadcast.
Is there any reason you would refuse to allow access to the show?
If you're very rarely off-air, and run things to a professional standard, it's quite unlikely. Importantly though, if your station in any way promotes violence, bigotry, or extreme religious or political views, you can stop reading. It's a 'no' from us.
Why can't I just download it from here?
Although the show can be downloaded from this site, the service is really for listeners and you must notify us if you intend to re-broadcast it.
What about time-checks and news?
The show contains no time checks, weather reports or similar, so can be broadcast at any time of day, in any territory.
Do you offer any promotional material for the show?
Yes. If you would like to receive promotional graphics for the show, or recorded trailers, just let us know.
What if I want to stop running the show?
Should you no longer wish to recieve the show and download alert, just tell us and we'll remove you from the list.
Do you have all the licences needed
Yes. But you are responsible for any licence or copyright liabilities required for broadcasting the show on your station.
May I edit the show?
The show is offered 'as is'. You may not substantially edit the show to change its format, intention or content. Slight tweaks for timings are acceptable.
What if I'd like the show exclusively?
If you have a suitable budget, then that could be possible. However, right now, the show is not offered exclusively. It will appear on other stations and in other countries.
May I sell advertising on the show?
You may not accept sponsorship or advertising specifically for NO MORE HEROES, without consulting us. If sponsorship is for your station generally, then that isn't a problem. Equally, you may not schedule the show so as to imply its endorsement of any product, ideology, or political affiliation.
Will you ever stop offering the show?
The show is offered at our discretion, and we reserve the right to withdraw syndication at any time. As, of course, may you. We will give you as much notice as possible, but cannot be held responsible for any losses or consequences.
Is this a legal contract?
Not at all. Provision of the show is on a friendly and casual basis. No legal contract exists between us.
We hope this section doesn't sound terribly officious. We are simply determined NO MORE HEROES has professional credibility with listeners and the wider industry. We're teddy-bears in real life.
Thank you.
